Healthcare Data Manager
at Viveka Health Inc. in Princeton Jct, NJ

Analyze, execute, and maintain data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for enterprise applications. Lead a team of data engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure smooth data flow.

Duties

  1. Analyze incoming files to understand data, transformations, and validation needs.
  2. Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and ETL pipelines.
  3. Document ETL processes and workflows for maintainability and scalability.
  4. Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across Viveka products.
  5. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to align data requirements with business goals.
  6. Support client FTP setup and ongoing support.

Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and one (1) year of experience as a data engineer with US healthcare data OR Bachelor’s degree in the same fields and three (3) years of same experience.

Experience
Must include one (1) year of experience within US healthcare industry in each:

  1. Using enterprise ETL processes and data pipelines for data transformation and data warehousing architecture.
  2. Using SQL and one programming language (Python preferred) to integrate healthcare data sources including transaction standards (X12: 834, 835, 837).
  3. Experience of doing the above in cloud platforms like AWS.
  4. Healthcare regulations and compliance, such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)

Hours
M-F 9am – 5pm, with morning calls starting no earlier than 6:30am.
